Osteoma External Auditory Canal

Description : Osteomas are considered to be true benign bone tumors and do not appear to develop as a reactive phenomenon.
Osteomas appear as bony hard sessile masses, and are covered by normal canal skin. The surgical specimen which was removed from the patient can be seen. The base of the osteoma is located at the upper right.
