Keratosis Obturans-Widened Bony Canal

Description : Over time, the pressure exerted on canal by the accumulating plug of keratin debris may cause resorption of the underlying bone, thereby widening the canal. In this case, the bony canal the wall inferiorly has been resorbed and the fibrous annulus appears "suspended." A small granulation can be seen in the five o'clock position.
