Post Removal External Canal Polyp

Post Removal External Canal Polyp

Description : Most polyps require surgical removal. Those polyps arising in the middle ear should be excised carefully and never avulsed, for fear of damaging the underlying ossicles or the facial nerve. Rarely, a superficial polyp heralds an underlying carcinoma and for this reason every polyp should be histologically examined.
