Keratin Horn - Histology

Description : Histologically, the horn consists of loosely adherent keratin squames. H&E 228x. Since those keratin horns which arise from the attic are often associated with an underlying cholesteatoma, they must be removed and the area from which they have developed should be carefully inspected.
